ADO QUALIFIERS - There will be two open ADO Qualifiers - Sunday, June 29 and Saturday, July 5. Both will be at Sportszone with registration at 1:30 p.m.

SPRING LEAGUE BANQUET to be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at Sportszone.

WCDA Captain's Meeting Rescheduled - Make-up matches

The Captains / General Membership meeting has been postponed due to the large number of make-up matches that need to be played. Please use this Tuesday, April 8 to play make-up matches.

The Captains / General Membership Meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. sharp at the Do Drop In. Each team must have a representative at this meeting. The bar will hold a blind draw afterward.

START OF WCDA SPRING DART LEAGUE HAS BEEN POSTPONED!!

The start of the WCDA Spring League Dart Season has been postponed until Tuesday, Feb. 19 due to some dissatisfaction with the schedules. An emergency meeting of the entire board of officers has been called to rectify the situation. CAPTAINS - please call your teammates to notify them of this change. You will be notified later this week once the schedules have been revised.

ADO QUALIFIER

MIXED DOUBLES LEAGUE
Sign-ups are now being taken to play in the Mixed Doubles league. This league will be played on Tuesday nights starting on May 15. This is a money league. It will cost $30 per team to play with the money due the first night. The $30 fee covers the entire season, which usually runs about 6 weeks. Format is 501 - Cricket - 301. To sign-up to play out of the Sportszone, please call Bonnie at 668-9157. To play out of the Panther's Paw, please call Jackie Quayle at 337-4119. Or, sign-up for either bar using the online form. SIGN-UP BY MAY 8.

SUMMER 4-PERSON TEAM LEAGUE
We would like to try something new this summer, a 4-person team league with no stacked teams where C leaguers will get a chance to throw with A Leaguers! The idea is basically this, if you are an A player you will be paired with a C player or find your own, and B players pretty much run in the middle. Examples of a four-man team could be ACBB, or BBBB, or ACAC or ACCC or ABCC. You can sign up by yourself and get placed on a team, or form your own team using the formulas above. This league will be played on a night other than Tuesday. Please let us know what night is best for you. For more information, call Charlie at 242-0873 or let us know your interest by filling out the online form. Sign-ups will be taken at least until May 8.

BLIND DRAW APRIL 28 8 p.m. SHARP!!!
There will be a charity blind draw held following the city league play at 8 p.m. on April 28 at Sportszone. WE ANTICIPATE A BIG TURNOUT as several of the players from Raleigh have said they will stay for this blind draw. $6 entry fee. Chicago style - double elimination. It is my understanding that both the WCDA and Sportszone will chip in some money toward the payout. Half of the money collected will go towards payouts, the other half will go to the league's charity fund.

WCDA Regional Playoffs this Sunday!

REMINDER
ADO Playoffs will be 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Sportszone.
This playoff is open to all WCDA members. 501 round-robin format. $12 entry fee. Win a trip to the regional on March 3. At least 1 male and 1 female will advance. Any questions - call Rosie at 713-3990.

Happy New Year!

Fall Season Banquet - Jan. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at 81 Main.
Food will include snow crab legs, beef tips with sauteed mushrooms, popcorn shrimp, chicken casserole, vegetable medley, potato and salad. Coors draft will be $1.49 for 16 oz. or $5 pitcher. Yuengling Lager draft will be $1.99 16 oz. or $6.00 pitcher. The WCDA will add money to the pot for the blind draw. Please let Country know if you plan on bringing a guest as we're trying to get a better head count.

Spring League rosters are due at banquet! Tentative league start date is Jan. 30. Tentative captains meeting date is Jan. 28.

ADO Singles Bar Tournament
will run three consecutive Tuesdays - Jan. 2, 9 & 16. Sign up to play singles at your favorite bar. The top male and female from each bar will advance to the bar championship. The male and female player winning the bar championship will win trips to the next ADO regional. Format is 501. Cost to play in the bar singles is $12 per person. Sign up now as the maximum that can play at a bar is 10. Signups are first come, first served. Due to time constraints, you must be able to play all three nights - there will be no makeups. League playoffs for ADO Regional this Sunday, Oct. 15!!

WCDA Playoffs for the ADO Cricket Singles Championship at Sportszone on Oct. 15. at 1:30 p.m.
Registration is at 1:30 p.m. Play will start at 2 p.m. sharp! This is the playoff where we will pick two extra people from a draw to win the wildcard spots to the regional! Come out and support the league and for a chance to play in the regional! Format is Cricket. $12 entry fee. If you haven't renewed your WCDA membership yet this fall, you will be required to pay the membership fee ($15 - good for a year) in order to participate in the playoff.
